Trained Medication Aide (TMA)Position Summary: The Trained Medication Aide (TMA) is responsible for safely administering medications and providing direct resident care under the supervision of a licensed nurse. TMAs play a vital role in supporting the nursing team and ensuring residents receive compassionate, timely, and accurate care.Key Responsibilities:Accurately administer oral, topical, and inhaled medications as delegated by licensed nursing staffDocument medication administration and report any changes, refusals, or concerns promptlyObserve residents for side effects, adverse reactions, and overall response to medicationsProvide assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, mobility, and meals as neededEnsure residents' dignity, safety, and comfort at all timesMaintain cleanliness and organization of medication carts, storage areas, and suppliesCollaborate with nurses, CNAs, and interdisciplinary staff to deliver high-quality, resident-centered careAdhere to state, federal, and facility policies and regulations regarding medication administration and resident careQualifications:Current CNA certification in MinnesotaCompletion of an approved Trained Medication Aide (TMA) program in MinnesotaStrong attention to detail and commitment to safe medication practicesCompassionate, dependable, and resident-focused attitudeEffective communication and teamwork skillsAbility to follow instructions and work under nurse supervisionWhat's Offered:Competitive pay and benefits packageFlexible scheduling (days, evenings, nights, weekends)Supportive team environment with opportunities for professional growthThe chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of residents every dayJoin Us!
