Part-Time Administrative AssistantSuperior Health and Wellness Group, LLC Practice Type: Integrated Behavioral Health Job Type: Part-time, W-2, nonexempt Hours: 10-16 hours per weekPosition OverviewSuperior Health and Wellness Group is seeking a dependable, highly organized, and task-oriented Administrative Assistant to support the practice owner with ongoing administrative responsibilities. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys creating order, tracking details, completing follow-ups, and helping a busy professional stay organized. The Administrative Assistant will manage assigned projects, maintain task lists and spreadsheets, obtain information from insurance companies, and coordinate the work of a remote administrative support contractor.This is a limited-hours support position and is not an office-manager or clinical position.Primary ResponsibilitiesHelp the practice owner organize administrative prioritiesMaintain weekly task, deadline, and follow-up listsBreak larger projects into manageable action itemsMonitor outstanding tasks and provide status updatesCall insurance companies and payer representatives for updated informationDocument call dates, representative names, reference numbers, outcomes, and next stepsMaintain payer, credentialing, contract, and administrative spreadsheetsPrepare routine reports, summaries, and tracking documentsOrganize electronic files and administrative recordsTrack license, credentialing, insurance, contract, and policy-expiration datesFollow up on outstanding applications, forms, and administrative requestsPrepare routine forms and correspondence for reviewIdentify missing information or unresolved administrative issuesMaintain clear documentation of completed and pending workAssign approved routine tasks to the remote administrative support contractorReview the contractors work for completeness and accuracyReturn incomplete or inaccurate work for correctionEscalate matters requiring the owners decision, signature, or approvalComplete other administrative projects within the approved scope of the positionMinimum QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentStrong organizational and follow-through skillsProficiency with email, spreadsheets, and word-processing programsAbility to organize information and prepare clear written summariesProfessional telephone and written communication skillsAbility to follow written procedures and detailed instructionsStrong attention to accuracy and deadlinesAbility to work independently and provide regular progress updatesAbility to protect confidential patient, employee, and business informationWillingness to complete required HIPAA and security trainingReliable availability for approximately 16 hours per weekPreferred QualificationsPrevious administrative, healthcare, insurance, or behavioral health experienceExperience communicating with insurance companiesExperience maintaining spreadsheets and tracking reportsExperience supporting a business owner, manager, or healthcare providerFamiliarity with credentialing, payer portals, or healthcare administrationExperience reviewing or coordinating another persons administrative workHealthcare experience is preferred but not required.
